Hello there!

Lake Minnetonka 2019 (taken by me)
My name is Tori (Victoria) Williams. I live at home on lake Minnetonka with my parents, two younger siblings, and two golden doodles. I’ve created this site for an online digital writing class through the University of Minnesota Crookston. It’s definitely going to be a challenge for me as I am not tech savvy at all, but I am hoping it’s a growing experience. Im also hoping that as you explore this site you leave with something inspiring or something that makes you feel a little more understood. Thanks for visiting!
Sincerely,
Tori Williams
Inspiring quotes
“A writer is a person who cares what words mean, what they say, how they say it. Writers know words are their way towards truth and freedom, and so they use them with care, with thought, with fear, with delight. By using words well they strengthen their souls. Story-tellers and poets spend their lives learning that skill and art of using words well. And their words make the souls of their readers stronger, brighter, deeper.”
-Ursula K Le Guin
“Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.”
-C.S. Lewis
“It is by loving, and not by being loved, that one can come nearest the soul of another; yea, that, where two love, it is the loving of each other, that originates and perfects and assures their blessedness. I knew that love gives to him that loveth, power over over any soul be loved, even if that soul know him not, bringing him inwardly close to that spirit; a power that cannot be but for good; for in proportion as selfishness intrudes, the love ceases, and the power which springs therefrom dies. Yet all love will, one day, meet with its return.”
-George MacDonald
